Starting out in the Chamonix Valley, this superlative trek makes a complete and very spectacular circumnavigation of Mont Blanc and its satellite peaks.

Crossing firstly into Italy and then Switzerland, the route follows picturesque valley trails and steep mountain paths and climbs to scenic and challenging 2500 metre / 8,200 feet passes. We use a good standard of hotel and gite accommodation, based on twin and triple rooms. Vehicle back-up means that group members need to carry only a small daypack and, as a result, can devote their energies to enjoying the magnificent Alpine scenery.

Suitable for regular walkers, this is an excellent introduction to long-distance trail walking in the Alps.
