| Day 1 |
Meeting in our hotel in Grindelwald. Equipment
check and team meeting in the afternoon. |
| Day 2 |
Morning train ride to the Jungfraujoch (11350 ft). This exciting journey will take us to the Kleine Scheidegg offering great views on the Eiger North face. From there the train reaches the Jungfraujoch by an incredible tunnel through the Eiger itself. From the train, easy glacier travel to the foot of the south ridge of Mönch (13450 ft). A great mixed climb with short section of good rock and some exposed snow ridge to the summit. Descent by the same ridge and short traverse to the Mönchjoch Hütte (11900 ft). |
| Day 3 |
Along the Walcher ridge to the Gross Fisescherhorn, mixed terrain, snow, ice and easy scrambling. Descent to the beautiful Finsteraarhorn Hütte. |
| Day 4 |
By the Hügi Sattel and the North ridge, ascent of the Finsteraarhorn (4273 m), the highest peak in the Berner Oberland. Back to the hut and in the afternoon, traverse to the Konkordia Hut. |
| Day 5 |
We will descent the Aletsch glacier, the largest glacier in the Alps before climbing up to the Mittel Aletsch Biwak. |
| Day 6 |
Traverse of the Aletschhorn (4195 m) and descent by the western side to the Oberaltesch Hut. Hike out to Belalp and Brig. |
