| Heliskiing
in Chamonix |
| |
Heliskiing is not allowed in Chamonix and in France in general. Switzerland is only 10 miles away and there... a Swiss helicopter will drop us in the Glacier du Trient area, from where we can ski back to Argentière.
For those who want more we suggest a first run along the northern side, into one of the swiss vallies by the Glacier des Grands, the Val d’Arpette or Saleinaz. The heli will pick us up and drop us again for a second final run back to Argentière.
Heliski Chamonix packages range from a single flight with up to 1500 metres of vertical to a full 6 day guided program.
Single flight - This program includes a helicopter flight and an off-piste descent (aprox 1300-1500 metres) with an experienced Alpine Guide who will choose the best descent on offer according to snow conditions.
Other options range from a full day of heliskiing with up to 4500 vertical metres over 3 descents, to a full 6 days of heliskiing with up to 15000 vertical metres skiing in the Aosta Valley and parts of Switzerland and France .
Heliskiing is also permitted in the Aosta Valley, on the Italian side of the Mont Blanc tunnel. Check our offer in the Gran Paradiso area.
