Meeting in our hotel in Grindelwald. Equipment
check and team meeting in the afternoon. |
| Day 2 |
We will spend our first day climbing in Grindelwald. This will give you the opportunity to get to know your guide and give him the chance to evaluate your technical level. We take this issue very seriously since the safety on the trip will be directly depending on the relation of confidence that will install between you and your guide. |
| Day 3 |
Drive to the Lauterbrunnen valley and climb to the Rottal Hütte (2755 m) |
| Day 4 |
Climb of Jungfrau by the Rottalgrat. This impressive buttress in the West face of the Jungfrau has never become a classic route although it offers some good climbing and a beautiful final approach to the summit on the upper glacier. Return to the Jungfraujoch train station by the normal route along the eastern side. Train ride and night at the Kleine Scheidegg. |
| Day 5 |
Short climb from the Kleine Scheidegg to the Guggi Hütte (2791 m).
During the hike you will have the time to look at your next objective on the North West ridge of the Mönch.

| Day 6 |
Climb of the Mönch (4099 m) by the Nollen buttress. Some mixed climbing and a demanding section of steep ice (up to 65° for 150 ft) before the final slope (1500 ft at 50°) leading to the summit ridge. Descent by the normal route and night at the Mönchjoch Hütte (3629 m). |
| Day 7 |
Short hike back to the Jungfraujoch and by train to the first station at the Ice Meer. Descent onto the glacier and after a short traverse we will start climbing up to the Mittellegi ridge line where the hut stands at 3300m.

| Day 8 |
Morning start along the east ridge of the Eiger also called Mittellegi. The last section along the edge of the North face is always a great moment of mountaineering. Descend by the west ridge and from the Kleine Scheidegg, by train back to Grindelwald. |
