| TECHNICAL LEVEL - DESCRIPTION | |

Mountaineering | |
| | |
 | Mountaineering seminar. You have no previous climbing experience, no skills, you want to learn all about it... Harness, ropes and knots, crampons and ice axes, different techniques, how and why using them, basic safety and rescue procedures will also be introduced to you. A good base for your upcoming mountainering career. | |
 | You have been in the mountains before, you have followed a climbing seminar, you know how to rope in, how to belay, how to use your axe, you are familiar with self arrest techniques, you feel alert on crampons, ten points, front points techniques. You have a good physical condition, you can hike and/or climb for 6 to 10 hours, you might feel a bit shy about your competences or it has been a long time since you have practiced, your guide will assist you, refresh and update your knowledge. Don't worry, it will be all right.

 | You have a solid climbing experience. You are signing up for serious climbs, long days in altitude 10 to 15 hours on the mountain. You are familiar with all climbing techniques on snow, ice or rock. Safety procedure, belays, rappel have no more secrets for you. You are independent and your guide can relay on you for his safety.

 | You are so good... but humble... you are technically extremely competent and you have a great climbing experience. You could climb all level 3 climbs by yourself. You are now looking for an unforfgettable challenge and you need a guide to coach you in your climb. | |

Rock climbing | |

 | You have never climbed before. Mountaineering is not your thing but you would like to start rock climbing. Right, this is fun but you need some coaching.  | Our Fun programs are designed for those who have some previous climbing experience (top rope or gym) and would like to extend their practice to multi pitch climbs. On this trip you will have the chance to practice all safety procedures, set belays, rappels, test your route finding skills place protections (stoppers, cams) and become an accomplished climber. The technical level of the climbs ranges from IVa to Vb.Take this trip as an advanced climbing seminar. | |
 | Our Top programs are designed for climbers with solid rock climbing skills. Our guide will be your leader and he will take you on very challenging routes. He will be relying on your skills for his and your own safety. You have to be familiar with rope management, protection placement, rappel and general alpine climbing techniques. The technical level of the climbs ranges from Vc to VIc.

Ski touring | |

 | This is an easy trip, it is conceived for beginners who want to experience ski touring in a friendly environment. The itinerary will offer you a maximum of excellent skiing with the pleasure of comfortable accommodation. We will be climbing and skiing for 4 to 6 hours per day. Participants must be good skiers able to perform strong stem christies while carrying a pack in variable conditions: powder, hard spring snow, crud and everything in between. No mountaineering skills are needed. Your guide will be helping you with your technique sharing with you tips and advices for safer and easier touring. If this has to be your first trip, it will always be on of your best memories.

 | This is an intermediate tour and requires a good level of fitness. Participants must be good skiers able to perform parallel turns while carrying a pack in variable conditions: powder, hard spring snow, crud and everything in between. We will be climbing and skiing for 6 to 8 hours per day. Basic mountaineering skills (use of crampons, ice axes, harnesses and ropes) are helpful. Your guide will be happy to teach you these skills during the tour.

 | This is a difficult tour and requires a very good level of fitness. Participants must be good skiers able to perform parallel turns while carrying a pack in variable conditions: powder, hard spring snow, crud and everything in between. Basic mountaineering skills are mandatory. Previous experience in alpine climbing, cramponning and ice climbing is suitable.
